The Writing Subgroup

The Writing Subgroup brings together members who are interested in developing their writing skills. The eleven members meet for two hours every Tuesday morning on Zoom, which is proving to be a very successful venue.

In a relaxed, lively atmosphere people share the writing they have done during the previous week and receive encouragement, reactions and suggestions from the other members, particularly from Michael Gordan who, as a more experienced writer, generously shares his knowledge of the craft.

Not only has this feedback helped the writers to hone their skills but, more importantly, the coming together as a group has provided a safe place where people can feel comfortable and accepted as they explore the many paths of creative writing.
